After 25 years of being a top rated talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show came to an end on Wednesday, May 25, 2011.  The Oprah Winfrey Show became a household name in many places, and she had loyal fans and followers around the world.  Oprah Winfrey has touched so many lives and her unselfish acts of love and extreme generosity will never be forgotten.
 
During her last show on Wednesday, as she thanked her audience for all of their support, Oprah encouraged everyone to make a difference: "You have the power to change someone's life."  Although she had a platform of a television show with a worldwide audience, Oprah emphasized  that it does not matter what size a person's platform is, or the number of people around them, people should use what is in their reach to "make the world, their lives, and the people around them a little better."
 
Thank you Oprah for making a difference and changing lives, and encouraging us to do the same.  Can you imagine if each of us took a few minutes each day to "change someone's life," how powerful that would be?
